Stan grew up cottaging in Muskoka and one of his earliest memories was that of riding in, and helping care for,
his family’s 1933 Ditchburn.
He became a year-round Muskoka resident in 1981, learned the boatbuilding trade, and in 1990 set up his own business, Stan Hunter Boatbuilder, building and restoring classic wooden boats. You can find him online at www.stanhunter.ca and in person at 2757 Highway 118 W., Port Carling, ON.
